Upon an honorable discharge from the U.S.A.F. in 1977, I attended Tennessee State Area Vocational School for Machinist.
 
My first job, a machinist, was at W.J. Savage Co. in Knoxville, TN. I worked there before landing a job with Y-12 Nuclear Division in 1981.

Was hired by Sawing Systems Inc. as a machinist, making various parts for bridge saws, and rebuilding bridge saws. It was there where I became a Service Tech. and Troubleshooter.

The demand for relocation and service became so great. I formed a business in 2002 called SAWMAN. After all, when I arrived, people would say, “The Sawman is here.”

Some of the company's I have worked with include; SAWING SYSTEMS INC, MATRIX, MARMO MECCANICA, REGENT, PARK INDUSTRIES, JOHNSON MARBLE MACHIERY, and VIC INTERNATIONAL.
